Human Resources Assistant and Timesheet Specialist

Summary

This is a hybrid role and the resource needs to be local to the Reston, VA area. To perform the administrative functions assigned which includes but are not limited to payroll information and personnel records. The position is responsible for assuring the timely and accuracy of reporting and maintaining of the tasks assigned

Essential Duties and responsibilities

· Collect timesheets from Gridiron Consultants and employees.

Contact employees via phone and email as needed.

· Contact Gridiron’s partners and managers as needed

• Oversee and review personnel files on all employees, making sure that all paperwork has been correctly filled out, as direct by Human Resources/Safety Director.
• Instruct on-site personnel record keepers in proper procedure for terminations, evaluations, warning reports, and keeping past employee’s records.

· Generate weekly labor reports and distribute as required.

Keep log a log of laptops that Gridiron has issued out to consultants in the field and act as a liaison to our laptop vendor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in data entry
• Detail oriented and organization skills
• Time management skills

Working conditions

Working in an office setting.

Physical requirements

Can require long period of sitting and being stationary at a desk.
