Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans according to CMS standards
• Develop test procedures in accordance with test plans
• Execute software tests
• Capture test results
• Provide test reports and associated documentation
• Create, design, and execute test plans from specifications
• Clearly isolate, reproduce, and document bugs in pre-production and customer environments
• Manage issue tracking software to maintain a list of known defects
• Work with client stakeholders to report and resolve issues

Requirements:

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• 3+ years of software testing experience
• Thorough working knowledge of the entire SDLC, IT systems and processes, testing methodologies and their direct implementation to projects
• Thorough working knowledge of developing, maintaining, and executing test strategies/plans/cases
• Experience in analyzing and decomposing requirements and creating testing strategy/plan as well as testing estimates and work plan
• Experience detailing test plans, test cases, tracking defects, reporting status to various levels of the project organization
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to document testing processes for use in technical manuals and/or product support site
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in software development or testing
