Primary Responsibilities

Works with peers / engineers to build and test commercial aircraft seats and furniture

Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.

Confer with engineers on details and implications of test article build, test procedures and results.

Occasional overtime including weekends will be required.

Minimum requirements:

Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and minimum 3

years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient with variety of hand tools

Proficient with basic mechanical and manufacturing concepts.

Basic computer proficiency.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.

Working knowledge of engineering drawing interpretations.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in a highly regulated industry, especially aerospace or automotive

Experience working in a testing and quality assurance environment

Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities in a fast -paced

environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of metal machining and fabrication equipment

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour
