THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

 Prepare hardware for power transformer for testing; prepare wire connections, prepare cable connections, mechanical assembly and prepare a “safe” test environment.

 Use available test procedures and assembly data to prepare setup. Assist in testing, electrical, and mechanical disassembly of each transformer unit after test completion.

 Prepare power transformer for tests; material staging and assembly per check sheet, complete needed MRP/ERP computer transactions, basic computer data entry.

 Change transformer configuration as required to complete additional/next test; read shop paperwork, drawings, mechanical/electrical assembly, staging tooling, staging parts/subassemblies, etc.

 Maintain test equipment calibration and calibration systems.

 Operate cranes, power lifts and other material moving equipment as required.

 Support and assist the Quality/Production areas as needed.

 Perform work under the guidance and direction of the Test Lab Engineer

 Understand and work under the direction of the appropriate HICO policy and/or procedures.

 Know HICO’s Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
