Test Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Test code development for sample and high-volume production support of RF components, such as power amplifiers
• Setup debugging and troubleshooting of both hardware and software, mainly on ATE
• Setup and automation optimization. Evaluate test time and cost reduction.
• Read and interpret technical documents including schematics, datasheets, and test procedures.
• Investigate new and innovative test solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's in EE with some exposure to RF component and technologies preferred
• Demonstrated experience developing automated test solutions incorporating RF/mixed-signal test and measurement equipment.
• Software Competence desired:
• Programming skills in C/C++ or other structured programming languages
• Hardware Competence needed:
• Spectrum Analyzers / Vector Network Analyzers / Power Meters / Signal Generators / Digital I/O / Oscilloscopes / Power supplies / Couplers / Isolators / Filters / Diplexers
• Good understanding of power amplifier performance test techniques/methodologies.
• Familiarity with LTE Advanced / 5G measurements: ACLR, EVM, SEM, PAE, IMD, S-parameters, ESD Testing desired but not needed
• Familiar with PCB layout techniques for optimum RF performance
• Strong track record of independently analyzing test data and assessing compliance with performance requirements. This includes effective troubleshooting skills to isolate test failures/anomalies and to develop recovery action plans.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information effectively to internal and customer stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration, team skills and a continual learner attitude
