Certified Pharmacy Technicians

Calling All Pharmacy Technicians:

• With a salary starting at $18.00, Rx relief is looking for the right person to fill a Pharmacy Technician position…right now.

This position is responsible for the daily processes under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist to ensure medications are ready for delivery to our customers. This may include packaging medications, typing prescriptions, answering phone calls, staging deliveries, performing inventory checks, ordering medications and supplies, auditing or preparing First Dose medications or any other pharmacy tasks.

Job Specifics and Requirements:

• Area: Westminster, CO
• Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing Colorado Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Schedule: Full time - Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm
• Pay: $18-22 an hour, depending on experience
• Background/ Drug Requirements: Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for adherence to all policies and procedures related to Pharmacy operations and equipment including Departmental policies.
• Perform medication fulfillment activities.
• Stage medications and supplies which are ready for delivery.
• Enter medication orders that are received electronically for Pharmacist review.
• Replenish medications as prescriptions are filled or supplies are received.
• Order medications as inventory and/or supplies are used throughout the Pharmacy to ensure adequate on-hand stock in a timely and effective manner.
• Alert Supervisor, other Technicians and Pharmacists of any workflow backlogs and operational problems with any of the processes.
• Perform any technician assignments as requested by Pharmacy Supervision.
• Perform all duties in compliance with applicable State and Federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy practices.
• Meet deadlines within defined accuracy parameters.
• Meet or exceed all quality standards set by the pharmacy.
