We are currently searching for a dynamic Full-Time Teller/Personal Service Advisor to join our Credit Union family. This position will be working out of our Delray Branch location but may assist at times with other branches as needed.
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
- Perform Teller duties.
- Meet/Exceed monthly product/service goals in support of department’s scorecard goals.
- Working directly with members in building relationships, uncovering needs and counseling the appropriate financial products and services.
- Opening deposit accounts and taking loan applications.
- Servicing account maintenance requests and ensuring quality control on all work responsibilities to minimize errors and increase efficiencies.
- Effectively advise members on our products and services, by interacting with members on how to utilize its benefits and features, while providing the Power Financial family experience.
- Engage in pro-active activities to ensure consistent performance such as outbound warm calls to existing members.
- Provide quality member service while complying with regulations, credit union policies, branch and security procedures.
- Ensure transactions are processed accurately and expeditiously.
- Ensure Safe Deposit Boxes are maintained and deposits are processed and recorded accurately.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
TO BE CONSIDERED YOU WILL NEED:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year experience in teller functions coupled with sales and leadership experience, with similar responsibilities.
- Two year college degree preferred.
- Effective communication (oral, written, non-verbal) and member service skills.
- Computer literate in PC based applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Must have knowledge of teller functions.
- Aptitude for cross selling.
