Reporting to the Director of Medical Surgical, the MedSurg Telemetry Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for being a resource nurse and clinical leader for the Med Surg Telemetry department with responsibility for inpatient services and oversight of Registered Nurses and Clinical Support Staff within this hospital system. The MedSurg Telemetry Nurse Supervisor will provide effective mentoring and works closely with physicians, department staff as well as managers to help ensure the the use of best practices and be a decision maker with policy and procedure development and education.
The MedSurg Telemetry Nurse Supervisor will cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with post acute care providers as well as perform quality improvement measures and processes in collaboration with the Unit Partnership Committee and other Supervisors overseeing inpatient services.
