Job description
What you’ll be responsible for:
You will be responsible for all activities related to staff technology training. You will develop course materials, deliver in person and online training sessions, track staff progress, and manage all training schedules. Training needs are determined by help desk data metrics, feedback from managers, and any potential new educational training opportunities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee training content development for software, hardware, new hire onboarding, cloud services (SaaS/LaaS), Certify, UKG, Office365, Salesforce, Windows laptops, Mac Laptops, phishing, etc.
- Deliver in person and online training.
- Create and maintain course materials and library of training materials (how to documents, videos, links to external materials, etc.) and any additional content or documentation to share with staff.
- Manage training schedules and track staff attendance and progress.
- Assist with cyber security awareness training, including monthly emails and two learning sessions a year.
- Hold regularly scheduled times where individuals can be helped with issues or training needs.
- Write and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation for functions and processes.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, learning and development, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience working with Salesforce or other cloud-based software applications.
- Able to quickly pick up on new technology and effectively comprehend, explain, and create training content.
- Proven experience developing training videos, explainer videos and how-to videos.
- Extensive professional experience in customer service positions.
- Experience training individuals, small groups, and large audiences with an emphasis on being able to adapt training techniques and material to the experience of the audience.
- Able to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing is required.
- The ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
