Best Buy Health is seeking an innovative, passionate Technology Project/Program Manager – Product Research and Development to join us as we continue to make a huge impact in this growing industry.
What will you do as a Technology Project/Program Manager – Product Research and Development?
- Manage one or more small to medium sized technology delivery projects, programs, or specific stages of a larger program under the guidance of 1 or more senior team members.
- Execute or assist in executing the project tasks and deliverables for all assigned programs, following Program Management CoP guidelines and best practices.
- Track each stage throughout its lifecycle and ensure critical information is shared among applicable team members and stakeholders.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across Product, UX, Engineering and QA to define and drive timelines with critical path dependencies.
- Ensure teams are delivering against the plan and work with the teams and/or the senior team member to raise concerns and hold teams accountable for actions.
- Plan and schedule meetings as appropriate, work with teams to ensure key materials are prepared for productive meetings that drive results.
- Work with project/program teams to get task, issue, and risk updates.
- Articulate project/program status, provide actionable updates, speak to current risks, provide risk aversion plans and assist with updates.
- Create or support senior team member in cascading communications and weekly status reports.
- Support senior Team member in managing project/program budget aggregation for all participating teams
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Course work in project management
- 1 or more years of project or program management experience
- 2 or years of senior technology project specialist or coordinator experience
- 1 or more years of agile delivery
- Experience working on or with a technology delivery or Product team
- Experience with change management, business analysis, or process analysis
- Experience with evolving project management and agile tools (JIRA, Version 1, Project, Air Table, Wiki, Slack, etc)
