Responsibilities:- Assists with a variety of highly specialized procedures for Cath Lab patients.
- Assists with preparation of the Patient including maintaining sterile environment during procedures.
- Assists in the post procedural care of the patient to ensure optimal outcome and patient satisfaction thru discharge.
Qualifications
- Completion of a surgical technician program. RCIS certification preferred
- 1 year of Cath lab experience
- Completion of a surgical technician program.
- RCIS certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- All requirements for Tier II met.
