We need an experienced Technical Program Manager to help guide and deliver value to large business initiatives and multiple important projects.

Indeed Technical Program Managers effectively deliver business and technical results by championing a culture of accountability and consistent application of technical project & program management practices. We are facilitators and motivators, working across departments and offices to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of programs and projects.

Ultimately we are responsible for helping teams achieve their goals, work strategically together, and remain as adaptable as possible in a fun, ever-changing environment. We’re always looking for ways to optimize.

Responsibilities

  • Partner (embedded within the Product Delivery Team) with one or more Product Delivery team(s) to deliver strategic value. Collaborate across Indeed with senior stakeholders and other program managers.
  • Plan and manage program(s) consisting of multiple complex projects. Drive delivery of project work through other project managers and product managers.
  • Step in to manage projects or aspects of projects within the programs you own, as needed.
  • Partner with the program sponsor and stakeholders to define the program OKRs and roadmap.
  • Use communications effectively to inform and influence your intended audiences. Proactively network with relevant stakeholders across Indeed to advocate for the needs and success of your program.

Who You Are


  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; able to thrive within ambiguity.
  • 8+ years of experience working as a technical program manager with experience leading large and complex cross-functional projects in a technology company and preferably, a degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
  • You have executed multi-team initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.
  • You have technical acumen and understand systems design and architecture.
  • Worked closely with software engineers, QA, product managers and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).
  • Experience with Agile frameworks. Agile certifications such as, but limited to Scrum is a plus.
  • You consistently demonstrate inclusive behavior, cultivate diversity, and a sense of belonging amongst your colleagues, portfolio, and stakeholders.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

US Remote 133,000 - 193,000 USD per year

Austin 133,000 - 193,000 USD per year

NYC Metro Area 162,000 - 236,000 USD per year

SF Bay Area 179,000 - 259,000 USD per year

Seattle 169,000 - 245,000 USD per year
