*Job Summary*

  • The Field Implementation Manager (FIM) is responsible for supporting Tradecraft (TCO) business within an assigned region by supporting and driving revenue of Tradecraft products and programs within Canteen operations. This position will be a brand ambassador, educator, and lead as a subject matter expert to support growth throughout Canteen and Compass. The FIM will be responsible for supporting new TCO business opportunities within both existing clients and new business opportunities. This role reports to the TCO Vice President and works in support of Canteen operations & sales teams.*

Develop and provide equipment training on specialty espresso, coffee, and tea equipment to service technicians at Tradecraft and Canteen branch sites nationwide.

  • Act as liaison to equipment vendors and local technician teams for parts ordering and equipment support
  • Work closely with new business project manager to schedule attendance at critical installs supporting local teams.
  • Assist as needed to provide equipment information and recommendations to sales and operations teams.
  • Identify and resolve issues on each project.
  • Fully understand customer’s needs, financial objectives, and food and beverage philosophy as to best tailor and align potential opportunities
  • Continually strive to seek out opportunities to improve the overall profitability and success of the business
  • Identify and support opportunities that will drive the growth of TCO products and programs
  • Builds winning client relationships and networks with multiple operational stakeholders
  • Supports the Canteen sellers in customer-facing sales scenarios as well as operations in rebids or business reviews
  • Assists in development of operational and sales level training
  • Leads education and training and supports ongoing training needs within assigned regions or division.
  • Supports Canteen sales efforts to introduce and win new business in the assigned region
  • Understands and adapts to factors that influence business regionally and nationally
  • Stays current with industry trends and understands competitor strengths and weaknesses

Qualifications:
*

  • The ideal candidate will have craft coffee experience along with an operational background. A background in specialty coffee, coffee equipment repair or food and beverage preferred.
  • Previous experience in working on and repairing La Marzocco, Simonelli, and Eversys brewers.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot, servicing installs and repairs.
  • A self-motivated and proactive candidate with high emotional intelligence, relationship management skills, and an openness to feedback.
  • Excellent prioritizing and communication skills
  • The ideal candidate would also have a growth mindset (not fixed) and the ability to think disruptively (i.e. - not a status quo thinker).
  • Ability to read financial statements and tie strategy/actions to financial performance, and the ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs are also preferred.
  • Experience and proven success working in an entrepreneurial environment, who is highly attentive and with proactive customer service abilities and possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desired.
  • Ability to achieve subject matter expertise and willingness for continuous learning.
  • Required to travel, including overnight. 50%-60% travel involved.
