Job Description

Collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineering, sales, operations and technical support to provide industry-best documentation, and other materials, for our employees and ultimately our customer base.

A successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Defining and organizing regular documentation with our existing employees to keep our customers up to date on our product improvements
• Collaborate and coordinate with technical support teams to develop installer documentation and specification sheets
• Catalog and revise current documents to better explain product features, capabilities, and functionality
• Copy Editor functions as needed to ensure grammatical correctness and consistency

• Collaborating and coordinating with Subject Matter Experts to develop customer-facing documentation, including application notes, white papers, release notes, updates, and more.

• All other duties as assigned

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts at Signature Solar as well as industry experts to provide industry-best content.
• Critical thinking on information provided to ensure that it is correct and accurate by known resources.
• Ability to integrate with the roles of multiple teams to understand and drive the content needed to help them in their roles.

• Ability to prioritize and execute on the needs of multiple teams with differing priorities.

Qualifications:

• English, Technical Writing, or Journalism Degree or Equivalent

• Strongly believes in the value and benefit of solar and is willing to grow with the company and industry

• Must be proficient in MS Office, Adobe Professional, and other word-processing or document-creation software
