We are seeking qualified, dedicated EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHERS for our Head Start Program in the greater Wilkes-Barre area

This position manages the classroom and planning activities according to the curriculum that are developmentally appropriate. Evaluate and record children's progress and communicate with parents on a regular basis. Provide and maintain an atmosphere in the classroom that promotes school readiness and developmentally appropriate practices. This position directly supervises the assigned Associate Teacher

Qualifications
BS degree in Early Childhood Education Required
PA Certification Instructional I PK-4 Required for Pre-K Counts classrooms
Bilingual Language Abilities - English/Spanish, a plus - 5% added pay

Requirement

Hourly Rate
AA Degree: $20.68

BS Degree: $24.61-26.99 (higher salary with Instructional II, PK-4 Certification)

** $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS ** A $1,000 monetary incentive will be paid: $500 payout will be paid upon successful completion of the first 90 days; $500 payout after 1 year of service
