Job description
Primary Responsibilities:
The candidate will work as a program analyst/business specialist with an emphasis on contract management. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform program management, technical or business case analyses.
- Works with contracting officer to set deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of contract activities for project.
- Develop inputs into Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and other contract documentation.
- Performs initial review of vendor deliverables to ensure compliance with CDRL. Assigns and tracks review of the deliverables' technical content.
- Identifies options for acquisition approach. Provides recommendations of standard and non-standard approaches to facilitate rapid acquisition. Resolves concerns and issues with leadership.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to junior staff supporting contract management activities.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Requires Experience: Four years of relevant work experience.
Desired Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of FAR and non-FAR type contracts
- Experience with Army acquisition and contracting procedures
- Understanding of acquisition process and documentation (e.g. Request for Proposal (RFP), Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Specifications, CDRLs, J&A, D&F, Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP), Rapid Acquisition Contract (RAC), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Order or MILSTRIP purchases).
Desired Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Project; creating and updating a project schedule
Security Clearance Required: Secret Clearance
Estimated Travel: 25% depending on location
Location: On-site Fort Eustis, VA (preferred); On-site Huntsville, AL or On-site Lexington Park, MD allowable
