We are seeking an experienced Not-for-Profit Tax Director to join our established Not-for Profit (NFP) practice. Our NFP Tax professionals are responsible for providing consulting, planning, and compliance for private foundation and public charity clients. As a Tax Director in this practice, you will work directly with the NFP Industry practice leader and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. NOTE: This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as direct contact to clients and will manage all aspects of client accounts related to private foundation and public charity clients
• Work directly with Non Profit Industry Practice Leader
• Provide effective consulting, planning, and compliance for your clients
• Research and document tax issues and identify areas of opportunity and improvement
• Review accuracy of tax returns and minimize tax liability for your clients
• Work to expand client base and supports business development activities
• Ensure timeliness and completeness of projects
• Mentor, train, and supervise staff and provide assistance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Taxation preferred
• CPA required
• 10+ years of public accounting and industry experience, including 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
• Highly motivated to excel and progress
• Proficient with CCH Axcess, Quickbooks, CCH Intelliconnect, CCH Document and Microsoft Office Suite

For positions in New York City & California, the salary range is $150,000 - $260,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
