Position Overview:

Burntshirt Vineyards is a family owned winery located in the heart of Hendersonville, NC. Our award-winning wines are expertly crafted from 100% estate grown fruit from our two vineyards which are among the highest elevations on the East Coast. We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced tasting room associates to join our Tasting Room team.

Essential Job Functions:

· Prior restaurant/wine sales experience preferred

· The ability to effectively present and sell wine

· Professional appearance and demeanor with an outgoing personality

· Enjoys people and working in a busy fast paced multitask environment

· Is wine literate

· Can learn about our wines and act as an informed resource for consumers

· Can talk to anyone from anywhere and is a good listener

· Is able to effectively promote the wine club and recruit wine club memberships

· Can tackle all the duties normally associated with tasting room operations; additional duties include upkeep/turnover of the cottage on the property, setup / serving / breakdown of weddings and events

· Enjoys life, can laugh and have fun while still getting the job done

Requirements and Experience:

· Be least 21 years old

· Be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Be able to stand for extended periods of time

· Pass a drug screen and background check

· Preferably have knowledge/experience with POS systems

· Must be able to work weekend and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
