The Talent Engagement and Onboarding Coordinator Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Working with the Human Resources team to plan and facilitate training and development programs for managers and employees.
- Finalizing and conducting organizational employee onboarding and working with departments to develop/improve departmental employee onboarding.
- Improving, creating, and implementing engaging activities and programs supporting employee culture, employee engagement, employee performance recognition, and employee retention.
- Ensuring communication between all levels of the organization and providing employees with access to appropriate information.
- Partnering with the Human Resources team and departments to engage in collaborative decision-making.
- Other Human Resources duties as assigned
Required Traits/Skills/Abilities:
- Exercise tact, diplomacy, and good judgment in a highly confidential and sensitive environment.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) both in one-on-one and group settings.
- Have excellent active listening, conflict management and negotiation skills.
- Be adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Two years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on employee relations, engagement, training, or related adult education experiences and/or related business experiences required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint) is required.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
