The Talent Acquisition Supervisor designs, creates and directs our hiring initiatives as we seek new talent for our organization. TA Supervisor is also responsible for improving efficiency and effectiveness of the hiring process, managing applications, and serving as a valuable brand XOJET Ambassador.
The ideal candidate is highly engaged, organized, and personable. Additional responsibilities will include Supervision of Talent Acquisition Specialists.
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive and direct all recruitment efforts and processes
- Implement strategic hiring procedures and improve upon recruitment measures
- Work with human resources department to confirm hiring needs and requirements
- Direct and oversee the hiring of upper management and executives
- Create and suggest new and effective interviewing procedures and techniques
- Ensure current staff numbers are sufficient and appropriately distributed
- Engage in effective recruitment methods to determine useful applicant markets
- Directly interact with job candidates and respond to initial queries
- Process and track applicant job submissions
- Manage recruitment databases
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews
- Refer qualified and selected applicants to specific department for further interviews
- Conduct and request required tests needed for hire (proficiency, background, drug, etc.)
- Manage recruitment efforts and advertising budgets – Coordinate with the Marketing Team to ensure appropriate company exposure
- Set clear goals and benchmarks for recruitment team
- Train and supervise talent acquisition specialists in correct company processes
- Encourage open lines of communication between yourself and talent acquisition team
- Conduct frequent performance reviews for talent acquisition specialists
- Document and present detailed progress reports of recruiting campaigns
- Attend recruiting fairs to find prospective employees
- Demonstrate to candidates a positive reflection or our brand and company
- Adherence to fair employment laws and practices
- 2+ years' experience in recruitment
- Aviation Industry experience is strongly preferred
- 2+ years' people supervision experience required
- Self-starter who thrives in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional work ethic
- Proven ability to lead a team toward success
- Strong influencing, coaching and mentoring skills
- Strong ability to problem solve
- Familiarity with HR practices
- Demonstrates an understanding of fair employment practices
- Exemplary communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Capable of working in a fast-pace, deadline driven environment with little supervision
- Demonstrated success in building credibility with peers and key stakeholders to drive action and change.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective communication channels throughout the organization
- Capable of working in an environment with evolving business objectives
- Ability to travel
- Ability to lead by example with regard to cultivating our company culture and values
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
