Job Purpose
Houlihan Lokey (HL) is growing our Talent Acquisition team in NYC. As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will report to our Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and focus on lateral recruiting for Corporate Finance including our Mergers & Acquisitions and investment banking teams.
You will partner with service line leaders and hiring teams to recruit top-tier talent to HL across our national platform. We are seeking an energetic, personable, and passionate recruiter who is motivated by obtaining results, ensuring a positive client and candidate experience, and enabling business success via consultative recruitment.
In addition, our new team member will contribute to strategic projects including: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts, employment branding, and recruitment technology.
Responsibilities & Deliverables

Perform full life cycle recruiting including leading hiring team strategy sessions, writing job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing, assessing, negotiating offers, and closing candidates

Recruit lateral roles ranging from Financial Analyst through Vice President for Corporate Finance

Develop and maintain consultative relationships with clients, and advise them on best practices for recruiting

Serve as an ambassador for HL, ensuring a professional and positive experience for all clients and candidates

Manage up to 20 requisitions in an organized, efficient, and high-quality manner

Collaborate with recruitment coordinators to schedule interviews virtually and in-person

Maintain recruitment data integrity in applicant tracking system for accurate reporting

Decrease agency spend via proactive sourcing, networking, and other strategic recruiting channels

Contribute to strategic and tactical projects
Basic Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
-
3+ year of recruiting experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Personable with a strong passion for recruiting

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Power-user with LinkedIn Recruiter and experience with other recruitment technologies

Experience with an enterprise applicant tracking system (i.e. Taleo, Workday, iCIMS, etc.)

A consultative and client-centric approach

Team player who enjoys collaborating with peers and key stakeholders

Agency recruiting experience a plus

Investment banking recruiting experience a plus

Willingness to travel as needed
