About the Position: We are searching for an innovative and strategic Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement Specialist with both recruiting and employee development experience to join our growing team. This is a new position for our Company, and we are looking for the right person to bring in fresh ideas on talent acquisition and introduce new employee engagement initiatives to support our continued growth as we expand our business across the United States.
The successful candidate will have both Human Resources experience and a passion for designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive range of employee engagement and career development learning solutions to fulfill all Global Water Technology employee needs. This person will enjoy a broad scope of people-centric responsibilities, thrive in opportunities to be strategic in developing new processes and deliverables from scratch, and not mind getting their hands dirty. They will also be adept at using various recruiting strategies and resources to attract candidates with entrepreneurial spirits to our fast-paced, multidisciplined organization.
Summary of Duties:
- Screen potential candidates, coordinate interviews, and oversee candidate selection process in partnership with hiring managers and senior leadership
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule; assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Oversee the job requisition and position approval process
- Collaborate with senior leadership on the design and execution of the GWT recruiting and onboarding experience
- Maintain and regularly update standardized interview guides appropriate to each position and associated role competencies
- Onboard new employees to fully integrate them into the organization
- Solicit feedback from both successful and unsuccessful job applicants to continuously improve the design and execution of the recruiting experience
- Develop networking opportunities and represent the company at career fairs, conferences, and industry events
- Collaborate on marketing materials for social media posts and recruiting events
- Research, analyze, and report compensation, employee benefits, and engagement survey trends to senior management
- Design and implement in-house, online, and instructor-led career, management, and leadership development courses for employees
- Develop and promote on/offsite wellness and team building events and seminars, focused on retention and career growth
- Manage employment engagement surveys to identify “room for improvement” areas, analyze response data and develop follow-up activities to address issues
- Schedule regular “check ins” with employees and track employee engagement
- Analyze and track employee engagement, hiring, retention, and turnover rates
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications in database
- Draft and finalize all offer letter packages and related documents
Typical Experience: 5+ years in a Human Resources role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Effective communication skills and strong analytical skills
- Ability to interact well with others, address and resolve issues
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Paylocity experience a big plus
Working Conditions: This position can be an office based or remote position. Offices are located in Phoenix, AZ, Fremont, CA, Chicagoland, IL, Houston, TX, and Menomonee Falls, WI.
The position will occasionally be expected to be available outside of standard business hours to support job functions via phone, email, or at offsite events.
The position may involve overnight travel from time to time.
