The Talent Acquisition Generalist is a newly created opportunity and will work within Corporate HR, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, and partner with ConMet employees throughout the US. This is an office-based role in Vancouver, Washington where the view and location are unmatched. Your office building overlooks the beautiful Columbia River, allowing you to take a break and enjoy the view of Mt. Hood. Take refreshing walks along the water, year-round with access just outside your door!
This position may require travel up to 10% to North American locations.

Day-to-Day Essential Duties
· Oversee the candidate experience, from their first interaction to the offer stage to onboarding.
· Partner with hiring managers to understand their unique hiring needs and goals and create job postings that will attract qualified candidates to apply.
· Screen resumes and conduct competency-based phone interviews while documenting candidate responses to share with hiring manager.
· Ensure adherence to best-practice recruitment and hiring processes.
· Find creative ways of sourcing, attracting, and assessing talent.
· Manage temporary staffing partnerships
· As part of the corporate HR Team, support and manage other HR objectives as required, acting in the manner of an HR generalist.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
· Minimum five years recruiting experience within an agency or corporate setting strongly preferred.
· Solid HR Generalist experience preferred.
· Experience using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
· Experience working within a manufacturing and/or engineering company preferred.
· Proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships with different colleagues and managers
· Ability to maneuver through ambiguity with flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
