Job description
Welders:
- This position is production based. The welds are quick tack welds, not tedious, intricate welds. The welder is expected to meet daily production levels.
- Performs daily safety equipment checklist and gives to Safety Manger and verbalizes issues to Superintendent
- Perform the function of welding the side frame to the dowel bar
- Responsible for bringing over material including frames, dowels, welding wire, gases
- Assumes responsibility for the accuracy of the product and the quality of the weld
- Comply with respirator/PPE requirements
- Clean workstation at the end of every shift
- Notify superintendent when materials and consumables are low
STARTING RATE - $18.50
Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm w/ half hour lunch
Pay increases as you learn more skills. We are looking for a lead welder ($2.50 raise) and foreman ($3.00 raise).
