GENERAL DUTIES:
Support the infrastructure and enterprise systems of the District. Monitor, upgrade, repair, and provide tier-one through tier-three support for systems including but not limited to: email, database, web, file storage, document management, cyber security, and supporting infrastructures.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree with preferred emphasis in Computer Science or the equivalent level of education, technical certifications, training, and experience
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
- Experience diagnosing a wide range of network, server, application, and system issues
- Experience working on projects and meeting deadlines
- Experience in writing in using scripts to complete tasks
- Support of Transportation Department systems from backend to direct user support. This includes advanced systems support, network management, server configurations/management, cloud based services, security and device support
- Excellent customer service and support is a requirement of this position
- This is an onsite position and work will be performed primarily at the two district Transportation hubs
- Plus: Experience working in transportation routing and management systems
