The System Administrator will play a key role in application, system, network, support, and administration across the firm.

You will leverage your expertise in protecting our critical systems and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in developing the overall IT strategy. Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
- Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in the global marketplace.
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and develop analytics for meaningful insights.
- Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
- Training and supporting of employees on various applications and systems for both in office and remote workforce.
- Writing processes, support, and training documentation is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
- Monitor data-center health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new software and servers when needed.
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support when needed.
- Participate in a rotational after-hours support contact.
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups.
- Partner with Legal department leadership to provide a framework of automation options, priorities, targets, and goals when needed.
- Design workflow changes to improve processes and eliminate defects.
- Facilitate testing, training and user acceptance and oversee rollout of the solutions.
- As a member of the IT team, provide integrated solutions that address needs of company, legal and administrative users and continuing to expand upon our IT infrastructure.

- Effectively defining problems, document existing processes, assemble and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Leveraging an adaptable communication style to successfully train employees at differing levels and abilities on our systems and processes so that all team members receive the highest caliber training and support.
- Processes, support, and training documentation is maintained and accessible across the firm.
What you bring to the table
- BS in Business or Computer Science with a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience with business operations or systems development, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working within a team environment, flexible, able to pivot to meet adjusted priorities.
- Must be able to travel to office locations and work remote as needed.
- Must be able to support legal teams in office and remote as needed.
- Requires excellent communication and ability to training employees on systems and processes.
- Change management and process improvement experience.
- Experience analyzing and document writing of business processes and support documents within a service-based organization.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Zoom, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Acrobat, & Visio.
Systems Administrator Total Rewards
- Job Salary Range: 72 - 108k
- Expected Hiring Range: Level 1 72-90k, level 2 80-108k
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
