Eurofins EAG is seeking a detail-oriented team member to join our IT Team in Sunnyvale, CA. As a member of the team, you will share in the responsibility of ensuring the daily operation and security of our global IT infrastructure.

In this role, you would be involved in the installation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers, network switches, firewalls, WiFi hardware and Windows/Linux operating systems. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with computer security policies, evaluating and installing security patches through WSUS. Managing network domains and Windows AD based network services. Create, ensure operation of Active Directory and DNS and maintain Active Directory group policies and user accounts/groups. Assist with configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting of personal computers and system problems for users.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with the following:
  • Enhancing Computer and Network Security
  • Computers / laptops / servers and related hardware
  • Local area network components (i.e., switches, WiFi access points, network wiring, etc.)
  • Network Applications: Active Directory, GPO, DFSR, Azure AD, ADC, Exchange 2016, Exchange 365, Microsoft Office 2016-365, VMWare, MimeCast
  • Familiar with Dell and Lenovo servers and Storage including Dell EMC Compelent, VNX
  • Core network technologies (i.e., TCP/IP Addressing, DHCP, DNS, IP routing, etc.)
  • VMware ESX and/or Microsoft Hyper-V hypervisors
  • Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy administration
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of technology users
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Capable of evaluating and proposing new solutions
• Able to work on one's own but enjoys collaborating with team members
• Able to travel a few times a year to support remote site.

What would set you apart? Experience with any of the following:

• Microsoft Endpoint Manager or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS virtual environments
• Microsoft Azure AD / Office 365
• Cisco switches
• Next Generation Checkpoint firewalls
• Installation and maintenance of Microsoft SQL server
• Ability to use PowerShell or other scripting to automate and report tasks
• CompTIA Security+ certification
