System Engineer
6-Month Contract to Hire
Houston, TX
This role is working with the Largest Oil & Gas Services company in the world. Your will be working with their Well Construction Division on a project that ensures rigs operate at peak performance while implementing digital drilling plans and building new level of instrumentation, automation, and cognition into existing drilling operations.
Required:
- Microsoft Windows on BareMetal hardwares
- Windows Server VMs
- Linux
- Powershell – Moderate
- Bash – Moderate
- Bootloader work (grub/grub2/EFI/legacy/windows/linux)
- Configuration management
- Experience creating images of linux and windows machines, packaging and deploying, automation of OS Images.
- Package management
- Production server creation/support/maintenance – linux and windows
- Windows driver installation / automation
Nice to have:
