POSITION SUMMARY
The System Analyst - Network is responsible for managing, organizing, modifying, and supporting a company's computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server, and systems;
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all files and system data are successfully backed up;
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to ESRT Corporate and building infrastructure;
- Maintain PCI and SOX compliance through adherence and enforcement of the Policies and Procedures;
- Apply patches, hot fixes, and upgrades on a regular basis;
- Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedure documentations;
- Communicate network related issues, failures, and potential impact to hardware or software to superiors;
- Support the implementation of IoT and PropTech solutions in a secure manner;
- Incorporate cybersecurity best practices to all aspects of the job;
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning;
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Technical Skills:
Be skilled, knowledgeable and conversant with current computer system technologies including but not limited to
- Microsoft Azure AD
- Microsoft Office 365 / 2016 / 2013
- Microsoft Windows Server 2019 / 2016 / 2012
- Microsoft Exchange 365 and e-mail gateway protocols
- Microsoft InTune
- VMWare
- VoIP communications
- Network protocols and topology (i.e. TCP/IP, VLAN, SAN)
- Wireless infrastructure
- Switches, Next Gen Firewalls, Routers, and VPN
- IDR / IVM / EDR solutions
- Apple Mac OS / iOS and Android OS
What Success Looks Like
- Solid working knowledge of computer systems;
- Maintain network stability and availability to support business initiatives;
- Investigate new technology and solutions to ensure ESRT is well positioned for growth;
- Configuring computer hardware and software for optimal network communication.
Interpersonal Skills /Abilities
- Communicate with internal/external clients in a calm, polite, respectful, and professional manner;
- Display strong project management skills completing assignments in a timely fashion;
- Exhibit strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organization skills with an attention to details;
- Able to work both independently, as a member of a team environment;
- Keep abreast of current and new technology system advances and their potential application to address user business requirements.
Education & Experience
- 4 - 7 years of IT networking experience;
- Microsoft MSCE, not required, although preferred;
- Associate / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000. Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, job location, size of property where applicable, and/or certifications.
