Position Summary
This position is responsible for the coordination and management of all Radiology Services for Vidant Medical Center and Vidant Health. The position is administratively responsible for all aspects of Imaging Services, to include policies, procedures, studies and treatments with a cooperative working relationship with physicians, radiologists, Vidant Medical Center and Vidant Health Administration. Maintains a well integrated system for results reporting and appropriate billing of associated procedures, overall responsibility of staff performance level in accordance with quality standards in state, local and federal requirements. Maintains proper safety programs, provides mentoring and works in a leadership role to all Imaging Services system wide.
Minimum Requirements
- BS or BA in Healthcare Management, Business or Finance required. MHA, MBA preferred.
- Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)
- Minimum 10 years clinical imaging experience with up to five (5) years experience in senior administration of imaging type services.
- Prefer experience in a health system with multiple entities.
- Registry/Certification in appropriate modality required.
- Problem solving, positive interpersonal skills, capital-operational-incremental budgeting experience, labor relations, Quality Assurance and performance improvement experience and long range planning.
