Job description

Temaki Den is hiring experienced and entry level sushi chefs to join our team. Duties of the sushi chef includes preparation of fish, sauces, and vegetables, as well as rolling and cutting sushi rolls. Other tasks may include simple portioning and production simple food items and salads. Candidates will also need to adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food prep, service, and cleanup. Since we are an open-air sushi bar, candidates should be sociable and comfortable with interacting with customers.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 2 years sushi experience preferred but not required. Nigiri and fish butchery experience preferred.

• Interest in Japanese cuisine and sushi

• Must be able to stand long hours (8+ hours)

• Must be able to maintain proper health practices, sanitary workspace.

• Ability to work as a team is a must
