Women’s Clinic of Johnson County has steadily grown, adding one physician at a time throughout the 1990’s and expanding rapidly. Our entire clinic staff share the same practice philosophy. We believe that the doctor/patient relationship is the foundation of good care. We involve the patient in their care, following evidenced-based guidelines formulated by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and provide this in a comfortable environment. We are passionate about providing the best possible, cost-effective care that results in the greatest patient satisfaction.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time surgery scheduler.

What you will do:

• Schedules surgeries, Induction and C-sections for Obstetrician-Gynecologists
• Fax referrals to other physician’s office
• Verify patients surgery benefits and coverage using proper CPT and diagnosis codes
• Contact insurance companies to obtain pre-certifications for surgery and testing
• Contact patients to schedule surgery procedure and provide them with insurance out-of-pocket expense
• Collecting patient’s out-of-pocket expense prior to surgery
• Prepare weekly schedule for each physician

What you will bring:

• Experience in a similar position
• Experience using CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis codes
• Prior experience or ability to learn practice’s medical software
• Knowledge and prior experience with using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Demonstration of excellent customer service skills (patient communication both in person and phone calls)
• Demonstration of excellent customer relations skills (patient communication both in person and phone)
• Demonstration of accurate data entry skills

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
