Job Summary

Under general supervision, receives and distributes all items ordered for Denver Health operations.

Essential Functions:
  • Physically receives and distributes all items ordered for Denver Health operations. (20%)

  • Financially receives all items ordered for Denver Health in the ERP—Lawson. (10%)

  • Validates Purchase Orders are accurate with regard to quantities, manufacturer item numbers, unit of measures, etc. (10%)

  • Digitizes and indexes all supporting documentation and attaches these documents to the Purchase Order(s). (10%)

  • Utilizes hand held scanner to record all package transactions from carrier to the end user. (10%)

  • Prioritizes packages based on delivery expectations, delivering first overnight and next day air first and so on. (10%)

  • Determines necessary action in situations arising during the absence of the manager. Establishes priorities and coordinates work activities (i.e. transportation with supply deliveries) to meet internal/external customer needs. (10%)

  • Keeps supervisor advised of operational and other work-related problems and solves those that do not require administrative disposition. (10%)

  • Works with Purchasing to assure updates and improvements occur for each financial transaction. (10%)

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience:
  • 1-3 years One year of warehouse or distribution experience Required

Licenses:
  • DLR-Colorado Driver's License Class R - DMV - Department of Motor Vehicles Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge inventory management, purchasing processes, warehouse operations, and distribution helpful but not required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively using the appropriate communication channel.

  • Basic knowledge of distribution equipment, such as, pallet jacks, hand carts, and forklifts.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
