Job description
As a Trex Supply Chain Planner you’ll be responsible for building the production schedule and maintaining inventory in the ERP system.
As a member of our Supply Chain team, you’ll be managing complex problems and tasks in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.
DUTIES
- Manage raw material ordering to ensure adequate supply for the manufacturing schedule.
- Support cycle counts and research to resolve discrepancies in the ERP system.
- Coordinate transportation of materials with consideration for just-in-time delivery and space constraints.
- Manage the conversion of the supply plan to a master production schedule.
- Balance sales order fulfillment with manufacturing efficiency.
- Implement and measure schedule adherence for root cause analysis.
- Partnering with quality, engineering and R&D to ensure materials placed on hold are efficiently evaluated for release or scrap to meet sales order requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D to manage project work and trial requirements within the production schedule.
- Identify and implement process improvements for working capital and production efficiency.
EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree and experience in supply chain or operations is required. If you’ve worked as a production planner or supply chain analyst, you’re Trex material for sure.
Have experience with ERP and MRP systems? You’ll fit in just fine.
