Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are now looking for a logistics manager to join our logistics department, the Logistic Manager is responsible for optimizing our supply chain and managing our vendors, which are running our spare part management operations. Ericsson is yearly delivering more than 1 million spare parts towards our customers. The logistics of this global operations for storing the spare parts, shipping to our customers, and managing the reverse logistics is outsourced towards Logistic Service Providers. These vendors need to be closely managed by the Logistics Manager on spend, performance and contractual fulfillment. Data analytics and financial & business analysis are daily tasks to further optimize our cost and lead times. Furthermore, it is the role of the Logistic Management to continuously search for reengineering opportunities in our agile supply chain to become more efficient in our logistics.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to manage several global Logistic Service Providers
  • Responsible for all spend towards the Logistic Service Providers
  • Contract Management
  • Manage escalations towards the vendors as well as towards internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for budgeting and financial control of vendor(s).
  • Continuous focus on and driver of cost savings-initiatives
  • Be the business driver in all tenders
  • Realize efficiency gains and improve processes with the services
  • Build and maintain a professional relationship with our service provider(s) on Operational, Tactical and Strategic level. You are on top of the operation as well as driving tactical and strategic business issues
  • Initiate & secure commercial and sourcing gains/opportunities
  • Reengineer Logistic and business processes in the Supply Chain

Additional Requirements:

  • First academic degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Design & Control (min Bachelor’s degree
  • Min 5 years relevant experience: Knowledge of Warehousing and Transportation (Road and Air)
  • Has past relevant work experience involved vendor and demand management, bidding project or sourcing negotiation.
  • Knowledge and skills to run projects, such as but not limited to tendering process, change projects, customer implementations, redesign of warehouse processes, new IS systems.
  • Experience in ERP tool – such as SAP.
  • Added advantage with experience of Macro, Analytics, MS Excel, Tableau, SQL.
  • Fluent in English
  • You need to be considered by our Service Provider as an authority in your area
  • Proven track record.
