Plains All American is an industry-leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in transportation, storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs). We are looking for highly-motivated individuals who enjoy working as part of a team in a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment.
Critical member of the Category Management team providing analytical support including data mining, TCO modeling, demand planning, market intelligence, value creation tracking, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed financial and operational analyses in support of category management initiatives.
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing large amounts of complex data to support sourcing events.
  • Track monthly performance metrics, organizational spend, and value creation for assigned categories.
  • Manage quarterly reports including categorization of spend data.
  • Compile comprehensive market intelligence reports and supplier / commodity profiles.
  • Provide market reporting and forecasting.
  • Execute Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models.
  • Monitor contract compliance; facilitate resolution; summarize and report results.
  • Document supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid packages and other procurement documents.
  • Develop RFQ / RFP scorecards and measurement tools to assist with bid analysis.
  • Work closely with Category Specialists to build and track consistent, repeatable series of key performance indicators, which are used to monitor supplier performance.
  • Assist Manager with ad-hoc reports and special projects.
  • Maintain active Contract & Agreement listing by category and tier ranking on SharePoint repository.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or similar related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to correlate the information and data.
  • Data mining and extrapolation skills.
  • Strong mathematics skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
