Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Siplast Corporate Supply Chain Analyst will analyze data and utilize it to predict and improve the company’s delivery of products and services to its customers. The analyst will work to ensure the organization’s supply chain needs run smoothly and efficiently to ensure maximum profitability.
The Siplast Corporate Supply Chain Analyst will use data to support their recommendations for optimizing the methods within the company in terms of production, supplies, and transportation. This role will report to the Siplast Director of Supply Chain Distribution Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Be the contact point for many large purchases made from outside of the company for projects

Assess a company’s processes and inventory, then use that data to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Monitor and collect data on current operations, including scheduling, sourcing, warehousing, production, and delivery

Gather data on each step within the supply chain, using it to recommend changes to reduce costs
-
Research vendors and seek to negotiate best-price contracts to increase business revenue

Investigate pain points within the process and develop solutions to resolve conflicts and inefficiencies
-
Negotiate with vendors and carriers to secure best pricing and ensure contract compliance

Create performance reports for management to review

Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes

Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with Sales team, Customer Service, Product management, Plant Operation, Plant Production Planner and Supply Chain Logistics team while promoting company initiatives and values
General knowledge/skills

Must possess strong organizational and problem-solving abilities as well as effective written and vocal communication skills.

Must be able to prioritize, work independently or in a collaborative atmosphere, and multitask.

Must be an excellent leader with a solid grasp of warehouse operations.

Basic knowledge of DOT, Warehouse GMP, and other relevant regulatory processes is highly recommended.

Must have good written and verbal communication skills and organizational and problem-solving skills.

Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to climb stairs. Frequent sitting, walking and standing, and occasional climbing stooping kneeling and crouching.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Oral and auditory capacity enables interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.

Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery
Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, logistics, or a similar field.

1 or more years working in project management.
