POSITION SUMMARY
The Supervisor, Nuclear Electrical Maintenance will supervise and schedule maintenance work on plant electrical equipment. This role directly supervises, trains and assigns work tasks to craft and contractor personnel and ensures due dates and completion standards are met.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical maintenance work on plant equipment and facilities consistent with standardized Energy Harbor Nuclear practices, policies, and procedures.
- Interface with other groups to resolve issues.
- Enforce the terms of the company/union agreement.
- Monitor and reinforce/remediate technician behavior and work practice as defined by site standards and expectations
- Promptly investigate and settle grievances.
- Perform Emergency Response Organization duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
ANSI Requirements:
- Shall have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Shall have a minimum of four years of experience in the craft or discipline that the person supervises. (ANSI N18.1-1971, Section 4.3.2)
Additional Requirements:
- Three to five years nuclear experience in construction, maintenance, operations or engineering of which two years should be in a technical field.
- Must reside within site-specific Emergency Response Organization response time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical discipline or related field.
- Three years of previous supervisory/leadership experience.
