• Manages a team of Proposal Specialist that executes the Item Maintenance & Supplier Compliance processes for named accounts for assigned customer groups.
• Responsible for a team that manages the supplier price request process, price/attribute benefit analysis, ship and debit management, special quote management and margin hold analysis for items managed associated to named accounts.
• Leads proposal processes and item implementations for new business cases.
• Develops item databases and reports for sourcing activities, cost avoidance and contract pricing requirements.
• Responsible for the customer sync processes and item attribute management for named accounts.
• Oversees the cost change process and timely implementation for items managed by the team.
• Works with Sourcing Managers to support requirements related to customer contract pricing terms and conditions.
• Ensures Fiscal Policy and guidelines are followed.
• Works with Client Solutions during the proposal process and provides the necessary inputs to support the Proforma process.

• Manages associates; is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of said associates.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior work experience in related areas including proposal process, supplier compliance, price/attribute benefit analysis, and proforma preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
