Responsibilities:
To assist, advise, and procure proper supply and equipment inventory levels as needed for the daily operation of the Ambulatory Surgery Centers at multiple Kelsey Seybold locations. Oversee proper maintenance and control of all equipment located in the Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Responsible for developing and maintaining the supply of inventory at a level that ensures availability of items for procedures/cases. Evaluates quality and cost of supplies routinely. Meets with vendor representatives and makes recommendations on cost containment. Manages all employees in the materials management department.

Salary Range: $58,223.20 to $76,417.95 (Salary determined by applicable experience)


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
(A = basics; B = preferred)

Education

A.
Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
B.

Bachelors, CPM, or equivalent.

Experience

A.

5 years experience in Operating Room materials management OR Surgical Tech, OR

B.

ASC experience- Seven years experience in multi-location clinics, purchasing and/or management.

Special Skills

A.
Computer skills, Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel,
Knowledge of surgical preference cards
Materials management software knowledge, ie. Lawson, McKesson

Advanced knowledge of Materials management software knowledge, ie. Lawson, McKesson, Epic
Advanced knowledge

Other

A.
Basic knowledge of automated Materials Management software
Effective communication skills, critical thinking skills regarding surgical supply usage, in-depth knowledge of surgical equipment and supplies.

Direct experience with Lawson Materials Management software.
