  • Directly supervises afterhours staff, both in office and in the field.
  • Participates in scheduling, employee evaluations, and performance improvement
  • Resolves staff conflicts to ensure a good working environment
  • Monitors placements to ensure children are placed in the least restrictive setting that meets their individual needs
  • Liaisons between subcontractors/providers and Saint Francis Ministries Reintegration/Adoption programs
  • Provides backup administrative support to maintain the high functioning of the program
  • Ensures on-call forms are kept current.
  • Provides leadership for staff and feedback on performance.
  • Meets regularly with assigned team staff to provide case consultation and feedback on performance.
  • Monitors overall client satisfaction of program and advises Care Center Director of the findings
  • Reports and Assures staff report critical incidents to DCF verbally within 12 hours, written within 24 hours
  • Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms
  • Reports and Assures staff report unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
  • Ensures clients’ rights are protected.
  • Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures

Experience

Preferred
  • 2 year(s): Prefer two years’ experience with children and family services

Education

Required
  • Bachelors of Social Work or better
Preferred
  • Bachelors or better in Addictions or related field
