Job description
The job is SEASONAL and available from May through end September so ideal for the person looking for a full time seasonal job. We also have part time positions available for those looking to work a couple days a week.
Northwest Seaplanes is a local family owned seaplane company based on South Lake Washington at the Renton Airport. We operate seasonally with a fun, fast paced environment during the spring and summer months.
Reservations/Front Desk Job Description
Northwest Seaplanes is currently seeking an energetic self starter to fill a fun and important position in our seasonal seaplane operation. Candidates for our small business environment must possess excellent personal skills and dealing with our customers and keep our operation running smoothly during our busy summer season. Basically, we are looking for a team player that is not afraid to work hard in our fast paced summer environment.
A qualified candidate must be timely, reliable, highly organized, flexible, possess excellent customer service skills, able to work up to 12 hour days during the summer and enjoy a super fast pace summer office environment while enjoying 3 days off.
Job tasks and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience handling office responsibilities, experience in customer service and/or related fields
- Perform general CSR tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide an excellent customer experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in English-language
- Highly organized multi-task capable who works well in a fast-paced environment
- Take scheduled and charter flight reservations
- Assist in performing aircraft scheduling dispatch duties
- Ensure company aircraft flight following procedures are followed and monitor flight progress
- Respond to email inquiries
- Assist in submitting US and Canada Customs filings for International flights
- Check in passengers for flights which include obtaining baggage weights, tagging baggage and ensuring our Hazardous Material Policy is adhered to
- Be able to lift 50lbs
- Occasionally drive our shuttle van safely
- Of course, wear many hats such as all do in a small family business and enjoy doing it
Education/Experience: High school diploma with a minimum 1 year (2+ preferred) administrative and supervisory experience.
- Proven Customer Service experience
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize time sensitive tasks
- Critical attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
