ABOUT
Precision Measurements uses the most up-to-date utility locating, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Vacuum Excavation, and other technology to provide our customers with superior level of service. We also provide additional training to interested candidates to further expand and improve the knowledge and skills of our technicians.

SUMMARY
SUE involves providing our customers with precise utility data to include the exact location, size, depth and type of utilities within the scope of the job. This typically involves using Vacuum Excavation to expose utility lines to provide visual identification of the location and exact depth of utilities and other structures. Our technicians are expected to mobilize, establish safe work zones, provide traffic control and operate vacuum excavation and utility locating equipment on a variety of jobsites.

Must possess effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in addition to being capable of learning and implementing basic mechanical repair skills while in the field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (Work assignments may vary depending on the office's needs and will be communicated to the applicant or incumbent by the supervisor.)

Physical labor including, but not limited to:
Operating a vacuum truck and associated equipment
Operating jackhammers, tampers, etc.
Operating shovels, hand tampers, digging bars, etc.
Field duties include, but are not limited to
Be proficient in reading construction plans and utility records
Must be able to provide a neat, clean sketch of utilities located / found
Work well in a team environment
Coordinate daily with SUE manager
