What you will be working on:

• Help to improve or maintain labs, vessels and training areas.
• Assist with safety inspections and record-keeping.
• Assist as directed with faculty and classroom needs.
• Assist with forklift and crane operations as a signaler/tagger/rigger.
• Assist in inventory of campus equipment and consumable supplies.
• Assist in staging and testing of equipment prior to classes.
• Provide information to supervisor regarding potential safety hazards, equipment deficiencies and general campus issues.

• We’ll expect you to be on-time, professional, consistent, and reliable. Our goal is not perfection, but we do expect value to flow both ways.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform range of physical motions, exerting up to 25 pounds; lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds; standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, kneeling, squatting, and stooping; and traversing up and down stairs.
