LOCATION: Maryland, Virginia, New York and Washington DC, USA. We offer a flexible work location; however, regular travels to client sites for meetings are expected.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

● Manage and harvest our existing accounts and portfolios in North America (USA and Canada).

● Scouting for new opportunities including Government bodies, Public Health Institutes, Universities, Private sector opportunities.

● Lead development and execution of business plan and go-to-market strategies for North American markets in the following key areas:

o Donor organizations investing and supporting health interventions i n low- and middle-income countries

o Public health Government bodies within the USA and Canada

o International Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) and multilateral organizations

o Private health care and CSR organizations

o Organizations working in other social sectors (Climate change, Insurance, Pharma, etc.)

● Building new strategic and long-term partnerships with potential clients

● Developing new business opportunities in new areas of work

● Establish a pool of sales consultants and champions/advisors who can contribute to new business opportunities.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

● Bachelors or masters in IT/Computer Science or Public Health/Public Administration/International Development/Medicine

● MBA with management consulting background is a plus

● Past experience in driving sales and responsibility for growing revenue

● Minimum 5+ years of work experience in business development

● Experience working with UN, donor organizations, health departments (in North America, including national, state, and local) is a plus

● Experience in digital technology platform sales is a plus

SKILLS:

● Excellent verbal and written communication in English

● Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

● Proficiency in business software tools like Project Management, Sales and CRM tools Microsoft Office.
