What You Will Do:This position is responsible for space planning and designing new and remodeled stores. You will create floor plans that enhance and optimize the use of existing and new retail space in order to effectively capture and increase sales in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Create store layouts as needed for potential new locations and modifications of existing stores; CAD experience required
- Assist Construction Manager in coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure space optimization in showroom and warehouse
- Provide input on and document spatial impacts of potential changes to prototypical store format
- Capable of generating renderings of storefronts
- Capable of reading and following zoning requirements established by local municipalities for space planning and drafting
- Bachelor’s degree from 4 accredited four-year college or university preferred
- 1 - 2 years’ experience with retail space planning software, AutoCAD preferred
- Proficiency with utilizing MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Proficiency with AutoCad
