Arc Herkimer is looking for a Store Associate. The Store Associate assists the Store Manager in retail responsibilities, financial transactions, and provide outstanding service to all customers.

Job Duties:

• Stock shelves and hang goods on clothing racks.
• Responsible for answering questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
• Maintain cleanliness of store including windows, air filters, restrooms, donation center, and back room.
• Provide assistance in loss prevention procedures and assist store managers in internal and external loss prevention efforts.
• Ability to use POS system.
• Account for transactions of cash, credit cards, and gift certificate transactions.
• Sort and properly classify products.
• Assign appropriate pricing in accordance with standard policies.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities required by manager.

Position requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year retail experience preferred.

Part time position is available about 20-25 hours/week
