Plan, coordinate, and direct the Company's materials and inventory management activities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Manage daily orders to support the global needs of our customers and the Company. Recommend specific projects and/or programs to improve the Company’s performance. Manage areas of responsibility with consideration for the safety, efficiency, harmony and well-being of the Company and its employees.

What you’ll do:
- Document near misses and work with EHS Manager on safety reporting and training for the area.
- Review and process internal (domestic and international) and external customer's orders to determine shipping dates to achieve maximum customer service.
- Align daily manpower using forecasting and demand tools to complete tasks in a timely manner with a large focus on “On Time Delivery”.
- Review and process daily inventory shipments to maintain inventory control and audit purchase order receipts.
- Manage and lead inventory control processes including daily cycle counts and yearly physically inventory counts.
- Coordinate and update production schedules to meet Customer Service needs while considering production capacity.
- Resolve issues by working with Customer Service, Engineering, and Production to ship product that will meet customer needs in the proper timeframe. Maintain production schedules to match customer requirements.
- Manage KPI metrics for production area and present metrics monthly.
- Engage in continuous improvement, being alert for opportunities for cost savings, and process improvements.
- Train and develop employees within your department, peer reviews, and monthly performance talks demonstrating strong communication skills.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university with a focus in operations; and 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supply Chain / Operations Management Degree preferred.

- Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace
- Intermediate Microsoft Office required and working knowledge of an ERP system.

Travel
