Summary

The Staff Duty Driver will provide shuttle driving support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives and meeting the needs of the project and its staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Transports soldiers to various Fort Bliss/El Paso Texas locations and facilities.
• Keep vehicle log in accordance with policy and procedures of the MaD Brigade.
• Operator will perform preventative maintenance check list before, and after operation of vehicle.
• Coordinates transportation services for individuals and or groups, up to and including unit level.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (i.e., customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction).
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Effective communications skills.
• Valid U.S. state driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills include:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Additional Qualifying Factors

Must possess valid driver’s license (any state), and must prove clean driving record and current vehicle insurance coverage. As a condition of employment, must have acceptable background check results and pass a pre-employment drug screening. This position may be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing on an unannounced basis.
