Responsibilities:

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions.
• Works with the Assistant Controller in ensuring there are proper internal controls in place including compliance with company policies and procedures, Sarbanes Oxley, and all other statutory requirements.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts monthly and fully analyzes financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
• Maintains and reconciles Fixed Asset and Capitalized Software schedules.
• Provides support and responds to information requests related to tax, treasury, IT, HR, customer service, etc.
• Assists in recording and reconciling AR and AP transactions as needed.
• Works with external auditors and provides support for annual audit.
• Creates ad-hoc reports and analyses to support cross-functional teams.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.)
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to complete projects and assignments with minimal direction.
• Must be able to demonstrate initiative to thoughtfully research and follow up on non-standard situations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective and professional interpersonal communication across various levels of the company and with external customers and vendors.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field of study.
